more monday madness

As one might have guessed by my absence from here since Friday I think, the past three days have been very busy for me and I’m not quite done yet.

After work all that I got was four hours of sleep this morning and I won't get a chance at more until late tomorrow. Once class is over I'll slide into my now standard three day weekend. Other than an exam on the second day of said weekend, I am hoping to have a very subdued yet pleasant three days to myself. I seriously need that time.

There are some written fragments from those missing days, but uploading them never happened. About all that I did online today was read email and that only took a few minutes. There wasn't much time for anything else.

Interaction with my current neighbors is so much better than what it had been where I used to live over a year ago. The people that live near me now are not only friendly, but they care about where they live. Of course my neighbor from at my last place was the daughter of the landlord so the level of concern was slightly different.

There had been talk of me taking a more active role in the association, but I declined using time constraints as my excuse. Besides I may feel differently about it next year.

Instead of squeezing in an hour of sleep before work I let myself get drawn into a Ken Burns documentary on Mark Twain. There is so much more to him than Tom and Huck.
