she seems calm For the second morning in a row, a light rain was my companion on the commute home from work. Once again it didn't bother me and I was off to sleep earlier than I was yesterday. ... With less than a month left before she has to leave, my sister seems to be calm enough about the whole idea. This might have to do with the fact that she is too busy trying to get everything in order before she leaves. Naturally this constant state of activity doesn't allow for much free time to think about where she is going. Hopefully her mood stays positive, because as someone said the more depressed she gets about it, the longer being away is going to seem to her. Since most of my evening was spent with my family, there wasn't any time for reading today, but I did manage to watch last week's episode of ER as I ate a late breakfast. ... In a move that took me by surprise, I already got a start on my Christmas shopping. Oh, I haven't ventured into the stores. By shopping, I mean shopping online. Amazon is truly my friend during the holiday season. They keep me away from the crowds and save me time. I doubt that I could ask for more from them. |
