misjudged the weather From looking at the forecast, I had thought that it was going to be cooler today so I did not turn on my air conditioning before I went to sleep and soon found out that that was a mistake. My bedroom became a sweatbox far too quickly this afternoon and left me feeling lethargic and more than a little irritable. I should also mention that this was not a baking and or dry heat, but a clinging humid heat that made sleep very uncomfortable if even possible. ... Even though I did not write about it here, I know from looking at my photos that a year ago on this day, I was in Glasgow, Scotland. My biggest memories of Glasgow are of trying to get out of the city after a day of site seeing. Driving there was no problem, but trying to find the main road out was always a struggle for me. As far as I was concerned, there were many roads funneling into the city, but only two or three that offered escape. Searching for these elusive portals led to much frustration of my part. |
