Alan Shepard Died

I am sure that very few people care that Shepard died, but what he did in his life had more impact on me than what Frank Sinatra did in his life. I am sure that some people would disagree with me, but for some reason I think that going into space is more important than selling albums. Maybe my priorities are misplaced, but I'll take the first American in orbit over a crooner any day.

I know that temperature is all relative, but its still strange when sixty some degrees feels cool in July and hot in March here in Wisconsin. I can actually sleep without breaking into a sweat. Yes, I can appreciate the cooler temperatures at night.

Since I had not logged on for about five days I had somewhere in excess of five hundred messages. There was no way I would ever be able to read all of that mail and stay current with the new mail so I decided to do a massive delete of my email. This is not something that I like to do, but it seemed to be the best option. From what I could see the majority of it was from the mailing list and not of a personal nature.

I had briefly thought about forwarding all of it on to work and reading it there, but that would have drawn some unwanted attention my way at work. Go with the flow is my new motto at work. It may not be the most original concept, but it seems to be the least stressful one at the moment.
