West Memphis Who's who being who was at the reunion, anyway. If you couldn't make it you don't get profiled. I don't make the rules. Harold: That would be me. Christie: My best friend through high school and college, she's recently moved back to the area. You've heard about her before. Gilbert: Big man and former Marine; he now has three children. Lori: Class president, I think. A little high-strung, maybe, but she did a fine job on the reunion. She's an excellent audience. Ron: Quarterback. Golden boy. Dated a string of blondes in college. Sells insurance and listens to Korn. Lives in central Arkansas. Kristy: Valedictorian, had a boob job, married to a lawyer. Reportedly a swinger or, possibly, a nudist. Bought lots of drinks, so she's okay by me. Lana: I went to college with Lana - she's a fighter of bullshit wherever she goes. Former physical therapy major, currently pregnant. Jill: Quiet yet perky, she didn't go to the night-time thing. She also did the physical therapy thing at UCA. She seemed pretty happy. Now married. Krista: Former wild child, now married with children. Her calm and intelligence are a joy to experience. A true grown-up in a group of oversized children. Angie: Doesn't like her husband, loves her kids. Doesn't drink very often, apparently. Deeply tanned, looked great - no one would know she had two kids. Janet: One of my favorites from high school; I rode to school with her for two years, then I gave her a ride for much of our senior year. Pragmatic and sarcastic - the best. Cindy: Painfully shy and reserved in high school, and much the same way at the reunion. She teaches school now, and I think she just doesn't give a shit about a bunch of people she never sees - she has her own life to live. I can't blame her. Dyanna: A teacher at our old high school; she dated a much older guy when we were in school - late in their relationship he spray-painted "I LOVE DYANNA" on an overpass just outside of town. Also an aspiring writer. Jennifer: Didn't actually graduate with us, but she went to school with my classmates for many years and stayed in touch. She was a welcome sight at the reunion; screamingly funny, happily married, Guinness drinker. Lauren: Actually class of '89, but with close ties to my class. She was my first decent girlfriend. Frighteningly intelligent; Sonya and I stay in touch with her. |

Me and Lauren. Technically, she's class The girls from my class, with special guest Sonya.
Dyanna and Sonya. Dyanna wrote a book, too. Janet and Angie - a couple of my favorite classmates.
Me and Krista. She's my homegirl.
