Michelangelo sibyl from the Sistine Chapel

I always feel so strange going to work after seeing a play. Suddenly I have to change my entire mindset. One moment I am caught in a live drama and then after a quick drive to work I have to leave all of that behind. I don't even get a chance to talk with someone about the play. Well, I do talk about it a little, but it isn't as though my coworkers were there with me.

When I walked upstairs to my part of the house after work this morning, I saw a note left for me. It said that my landlord was coming by to do some weather stripping in my half of the house this afternoon from one to five. Well, I already knew that he was coming Sunday to add more insulation to the attic, but this extra appearance was something new to me. I didn't mind the fact that he was coming over to do so home improvement stuff, except that I had to wonder when he thought that I was going to sleep. I mean I had told him that I worked third shift Saturday nights and that the afternoon was my usual time to sleep.

Maybe staying awake for close to twenty-four hours was what I needed to improve my mood. Then again seeing the play on Friday night also helped.

My friend Dan in California mailed me a promotional postcard pushing his album called Planet Reverb, which will finally hit the shelves in February. I really admire his dedication to the album, because not only did he write all of the songs and the music, but he also did the cover artwork.
