When I say storms, I mean the kind where they flash warnings across the television screen even though I doubt that people find them that helpful. The rain just keeps falling day after day, but it doesn't bother me. ... Someone at work mentioned a job in another department that they thought might interest me. The basic concept of the job is that he or she takes our software and then goes to the customer site to install it. Once they are done, they move on to somewhere else and do it again. The part that appealed the most to me was the fact that the person has to travel. I consider being paid to travel an ideal arrangement. People often say that the traveling aspect gets old after a time, but I think that I could do it for a year or two and I definitely think that it is something to consider. The funny part was that as soon as the person mentioned it to me, they said that they didn't want me to leave the department. ... Someone at work loaned me the movie 10 Things I Hate About You and it made me smile. Then again I am a sucker for Shakespeare no matter what form it might hide itself under. Although I can't say that I have ever dated a Bianca or a Kate. ... My brother lent me a cd by a group called the Red House Painters and I don't know how to describe it. I keep wanting to say Pink Floyd crossed with the Velvet Underground, but that isn't quite right. I need to listen to it some more before I can form a better opinion. ... I think that I'll stop here, because I seem to be reaching for things to say today.
