tom robbins My upload time for a new entry seems to be slipping later and later into the following day. Part of this is due to my odd sleeping schedule. Somedays I just fall asleep before I get to the computer. Then when I wake up I have to struggle for something to say before it all fades away. ... After some false starts, summer seems to be here again in Milwaukee. The rain has disappeared and the sun is starting heat things up. Now all that we have to see is if it lasts longer than a day or two. ... About the only other new thing that I can think of mentioning is that I started reading Half Asleep in Frog Pajamas by Tom Robbins. I saw that he has a new book out and instead of getting the new one, I picked up this older one instead. Yes, none of that makes any sense, but it does seem to be the way that I operate sometimes when it comes to books. I never seem to read the latest and greatest, but end up reading stuff that was popular about five years ago. It was years ago in college when my girlfriend at the time gave me Another Roadside Attraction to read and I still associate that book with her. Both of them were slightly offbeat, but very lovable at the same time. As odd as this might sound, I can't think of anything else to say today. I'll try harder tomorrow.
