college library fun Back in August I was hoping that school would be able to keep me busy for a while. Well, I got what I wanted. Since Thanksgiving is fast approaching I have to have a rough draft or thesis statement next Tuesday for my final paper. At the moment I have a very rough idea of what I want as a topic, but the rest of it has to materialize within the next two days or so. Now that wouldn't be so bad except for the fact that I am required to use at least three journals from the college library, which I can't access online. No, that isn't completely true. Some of it I can access, but I still need to go there to get the actual articles themselves. I also have to go there to use a certain database. What this means is the I lose an hour in travel time alone, which also cuts into my sleep. Sigh. I'm not really complaining, I'm just amazed at how much I have to manage my time now. Any slack that I might have had before the semester is gone now. On the flip side, I have a feeling that I am going to feel very lost during the winter break. I won't have as much interaction with people outside of work and I won't have to be making as many trips to the east side of town for a few weeks. I would like to keep in touch with Party Girl and maybe if I can manage it J Crew girl as well. After making the transition from work to home, I ventured out to the east side of town and the campus. Being there felt familiar and new at the same time. Almost every campus library that I have had to use appears the same to me. Some of the people are there for legitimate reasons while otheres simply want a place to socialize. Maybe its my hormones, but I was very impressed by all of the good looking women in that place. The library seems to be the place to be.
