an experiment of sorts I'm amazed at how much the elements can still cripple modern society. Well at least that's what it did to me today. Rather than venturing out into the snow today to do some errands, I was house bound for almost all of it. Now I'm not saying that the storm was of Russian proportions, but there comes a time when staying inside is the best course of action to take. Besides most of what I wanted to do could wait until tomorrow. I've become so wise in my old age. ... I'm not quite sure why the entires have been so short lately. Maybe it's time for an interview with myself. Ahem. So Eric what's new in your life? Not much. No new funny stories to tell? Nope. Okay. Has anything been bothering you lately? No. Do you have any thoughts on the election topic? No. Are you getting excited about Christmas? No. Okay, we seem to be going nowhere with this approach. I'd have to agree there. So what exactly did you do all day trapped inside the house? I read a book and watched a couple episodes of the X-Files. Oh, what book are you reading? The Good Soldier by Ford Madox Ford. Is it any good? Define good. Would you recommend the book to someone else to read? It would depend on the person. Do you consider yourself a big follower of the X-Files? No. Then why do you watch the show? Every so often they have a topic that I think is mildly interesting. Do you believe in the possibility of extraterrestial life? Maybe. I think that Carl Sagan said it better than I can. I also think that Jodi Foster was great in the film Contact. Who do you identify with more, Mulder or Scully? It depends on what is happening in the episode. Do you ever give a straight answer? Sometimes. Do you think that you are funny? Sometimes. Are you still attracted to your coworker Ann even though you know that you shouldn't be? Yes. Okay now this could be exciting. Is the attraction purely physical? Yes and no. You're being evasive once again. Yes, I am. What in general do you find attractive in a woman? Can we change the subject?
