brown disraeli victoria After some breakfast cereal with Ann at work this morning, it was straight to bed as soon as I got home. I was tired and I knew that I wouldn't miss that much if I slept through most of Sunday. Late afternoon thunder and some heavy rain woke me and after it cleared I made my way to the grocery store. Going there was the about the most productive thing that I did all day, but it was enough. I just needed some time by myself to think and unwind. Before I went to sleep for a second time I watched the Masterpiece Theatre production called Mrs. Brown, which I thought was pretty good. My knowlege of British history from that time isn't that strong, so I'm not sure how much of it was accurate. Despite what may or may not have been fictional, it was interesting to see comedian Billy Connelly in a dramatic role. ... I know that there isn't an entry for it, but I am positive that I was in Berlin this time last year. For some reason I must have forgotten to write about being there in the same way that I never finished talking about Australia. Berlin was the third place where we stayed more than two days and it was worth it. I thought that the city was amazing and from my point of view it seemed like a very industrious place trying to put their past behind them and doing a great job of it. When I go back to Europe next year, I want to start in Berlin, head north to Denmark and then finish my trip in Sweden if I can.
