two thousand miles Today was another day of lounging in the pool and enjoying the weather. I know that I have said in the past that I'm not that big of a fan of hot weather, but these past three days have been great. I couldn't get enough of the pool. Something about being able to float for hours watching high cirrus clouds float by is a perfect way to experience summer. I think knowing that the heat won't last forever makes it that much easier to bear. I also know that in a few months people will be whining about the dreary rain of October and asking where is the sun. People have very short memories. They also love to complain. As for me I can't think of anything to complain about at the moment and I hope that it stays that way for a long time.
