simple inventive thinking After another broken night of sleep, my day started at five in the morning again. Actually I had woken a few times before then, but I couldn't think of a good enough reason to escape from the blankets. I couldn't call Nicole this morning like I did yesterday to get my day off to a good start. Oh, she's at work once again, but I'm not sure where to reach her on Tuesday morning. Her jobs moves her from station to station on a nightly basis. ... Maybe to make up for missing The X-Files on Sunday I watched an episode Monday night before I fell asleep. ... Until today I had no idea that Barbie, the famous doll with inhuman proportions that has been around for decades, owns dogs. Not only does she have dogs, but I think that my five year old niece owns all of them. What was even more strange was what my niece fed them. It seems that they like to eat popcorn and birthday cake. Sometimes she even feeds them candy bars, all of which was very odd to me. Then to make things even more strange she brought out a Halloween bucket full of Mardi Gras beads and or play jewelry and started to feed that to the dogs. My adult mind wondered how a real dog would process any of those things, while it seemed like a sensible idea to my niece. Soon my niece grew tired of the dogs and decided that she wanted to watch a movie instead. Her choice for viewing was Seasons of Giving starring Winnie the Pooh and the rest of the gang from the One Hundred Acre Woods. I found most of the movie to be jumpy in its editing and realized that there were four stories and not just one. I doubt that any of the stories in the movie were ever from the books. None of this stopped my niece from watching. My personal favorite from the afternoon was the Tigger movie. Something about seeing the rest of the gang in their Tigger outfits got to me.
