is today monday It's one o'clock in the morning and I am at work, but that doesn't mean that much to me. Physically speaking my body is here, but mentally I am three hundred miles away without a worry in the world. I am hoping that that feeling carries over until I walk out the door seven hours from now. ... It is now three thirty in the afternoon and I am waiting for the oven to preheat. The need for sleep has given way to the need for food. By the time that I left work this morning, keeping my eyes open was about all that I could do. The three hundred mile drive home and the bike ride before I started that drive had taken all of my energy. Four days away from computers and most of the modern world was something that I truly needed to do. |
