eric finally speaks Eight in the morning and my life is calm for the moment. The past five days or so have been a flurry of activity and all that I want to do now is sit back in a chair and read. Jack Johnson plays in the background as I try to decide if I want to eat something before or after I take a shower. A trip to the east side of Milwaukee is in order, because I need to pick up my textbook for class next week. The campus should be empty today, but I could be wrong. I'll have my answer in a few hours. ... A couple of nights ago I saw Newt Gingrich on Last Call with Carson Daly and I was shocked to see his face on television. Naturally I was curious as to why he was there and what he could possibly have to offer the world of late night television. I quickly found out that he was there to plug a book focusing on Gettysburg that he has written. The topic of the novel makes sense to me, but why he decided to appear with Carson is still a mystery to me. Is that really his target audience? |
