sons of clay The second day of class went by smoothly and I am expecting the same for tomorrow which will be the final day for the first week. I have a feeling that the next three weeks are going to go by just as fast if not faster than this one did. Instead of the class causing me any problems, the most stressful part of the day was trying to get back home after class. Since this is summer, I'd have to guess that about a third of the streets in Milwaukee and the highways that cut through it are under construction. Naturally this adds a least a half hour to my drive time no matter which way I choose to go. Sigh. Thankfully I'm not in that big of a hurry on Wednesdays and Thursdays. ... I didn't make it to the pool before the rain started to fall and I blame it on the construction. Since ninety plus degree days aren't that common here, I felt that a swim in the pool was justified, but the weather got violent on me before I could make that happen. To put it another way, if it hadn't been coming down that hard and there wasn't any thunder, I might have dived in once or twice just to cool off. ... By accident I found out that Radiohead released a new album earlier this month. Once I knew it was out there I quickly downloaded Hail to the Thief before I fell asleep for the day. |
