new yorker reading Most of today was spent out on my deck reading the New Yorker and once again I don't think that I could have asked for a better day. As my body soaked up the heat, my mind was filled with images of St. Petersburg celebrating its three hundred anniversary and a review of The Pirates of the Caribbean that I am sure is far superior to the movie itself. Another added bonus of being outside for most of the afternoon was the chance to grill for the first time in a month. Yes, I have finally got my summer back. ... Before I went to work, I did venture inside for a little television with the latest installment of The Amazing Race filling that niche nicely. |
