more september rain

Before I fell asleep this morning, I managed to read most of issue twenty five of the Crossgen book Sojourn. When I woke up with the book still next to me in bed, I finished reading it and quickly decided that it had to be the best issue of Sojourn that I have ever read. The sad part is that I had given up on the series with the previous issue and this was sent to me only because it was already on my monthly buy list before I asked to have it removed.

Obviously I enjoyed seeing Greg Land's art on a regular basis, but for some reason the title was always one of the last to be read in my monthly stack so I cut it. Now I may need to add it back to the list and cut something else.

...

I had a dream this afternoon that a former coworker of mine had started working where I currently work. Now I haven't seen and or spoken with this person in years, but in the dream he was unchanged from the last time that I saw him. He probably made an appearance, because I had been told that a gathering of employees from that company was going to be held this afternoon at a local restaurant. Since it was going to happen right in the middle of the day when I usually sleep, I did not attend.

...

For the first time in days I felt like myself and as a result I managed to get some things done and still find time to relax. Now all that I have to do is make it through a night of work without something spoiling it.
