those wind gusts Falling asleep after work this morning was a struggle and it had nothing to do with how tired I felt. It was all about the weather. To welcome in spring, mother nature graced us with wind gusts in excess of forty miles per hour for most of the day and into the night. This meant that the windows of my bedroom shook at random intervals while I was trying to sleep. I was not amused. ... For the longest time a stack of Green Lantern books published twenty years ago has sat waiting for me to read them. Well, I finally got around to them this afternoon and there was some solid reading in there. Marv Wolfman and Joe Staton made a real impression on me and I wish that the two of them would do something together today, but I don't think that that is going to happen. As far as I know Joe only does work on the web now and Marv is too busy doing stuff for Hollywood to give comic books another chance. |
