weak american dollar For the first time in eight weeks, I got a healthy amount of sleep on a Monday and I loved it. Sadly this won't happen again until another eight weeks have passed. ... According to an article in the April issue of National Geographic Traveler, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Slovakia and Slovenia will be joining the European Union in April. Now as much as this might be a good thing for those countries, I am guessing that this will bring an end to cheap travel for foreign visitors such as myself. Sigh. To be fair that won't stop me from going there, but the old exchange rate was a nice benefit. |
