not so calm

Early this morning my sister boarded a plane. She was returning to the fun filled vacation spot known as Iraq. As of now, I probably won't see her again until six months have gone by. The upcoming presidential election may or may not change that date. Nothing is certain.

I said goodbye to her last night as my family and I watched the Olympic games. Everyone was relaxed and it seemed like a nice way to end her stay at home.

...

Work welcomed me back last night with yet another problem that no one knew how to solve. I was not upset when I walked out the door, but that isn't what I wanted on my first night back after being away for fives days. Something more quiet would have been greatly appreciated.
