christmas in iraq As children grow older they create lives that are separate from their parents. This is only natural. However, the connection isn't fully broken. Around holidays people come together and remember events from the past. Old stories are shared and new ones are created. For me this is what I think holidays mean and this year is going to be slightly different. With two of my siblings not in attendance, I suspect that there will be fewer new stories this year. On the bright, there were will be many more to tell next year. |
