thin plastic card

I haven't had enough time to get into a novel, but that hasn't stopped me from reading the latest issues of National Geographic and The New Yorker. From those two very different sources, I've absorbed all sorts of interesting knowledge. For example, the National Geographic taught me that there is a zip code in Delaware that is exclusively for credit card companies. Having had a few credit cards over the years, I already knew that they generally went to the same place, but I didn't know that it was more of a logical number than an actual city where people lived.
