jaguar panther tiger Looking back over the list of things that I wanted to get done these past few days, I have to say that I have been very successful. Both of the hotels that I wanted for my upcoming trip to China have been booked and my sister said that she would be willing to take me to the airport. Now all that I have left to do for the trip is board the plane and that is fine with me. This won't stop me from reading the guide books until that finally happens though. ... Four years ago if not longer was the last time that I owned a computer that was fresh from the factory so to be able to repeat that experience yesterday was great. One might say that it is like having a new car with zero miles on it. Keeping along that train of thought one is reluctant to clutter the interior with anything that might not belong. Why move the odds and ends from the old car into the new car in an misguided effort to personalize it? The same is true in terms of computer files in my opinion. Old email messages and too many bookmarks aren't needed to use a new computer. ... According to a news report that I read online, 7-11 Stores have agreed to carry Marvel Comics again. Now I may not be that fond of what Marvel has been producing lately, but any increase in exposure is a good thing. Besides when I got started over twenty years ago, there were no such things as comic book stores. My weekly fix was satisfied by a spinner rack at the local grocery store and or drug store. A bookstore might have a section for comic books, but a store that carried nothing but comic books wasn't a reality then. |
