not blade runner

I think that most people who like anime will be the first to admit that there are far more bad examples of the genre than good or at the very least that is the way that I feel about it. Today, I watched an anime film that falls more into the former category than the latter. Despite the fact that Armitage III : Poly-Matrix was clearly influenced by the movie Blade Runner, one of my favorite films, it just fell flat for me. I had no problems with Kiefer Sutherland giving his voice to the hard boiled detective, but Elizabeth Berkley as the robot girl Armitage did not impress me.

My entry for the twenty third of July in 1999 continues to generate traffic to my site. I wonder how disappointed people are after they find that there isn't more discussion of a secret sex society here. I can't be certain as to what phrase in the entry catches their eye or is archived by search engines, but I suspect that it has something to do with sex.
