self discipline exercise The ending of Tess of the d'Urbervilles did not disappoint me. For me, it was the best way to end the story and in keeping with the overall tone of the beginning. Part of me wants to read the book now to see how true to the story the movie kept. I suspect that that won't happen for a while though, because I already have a pile of books that I have been meaning to read for the past few months. Since I already have those in my possession, I don't think that I will be making a trip to the library to pick up a copy of Tess of the d'Urbervilles anytime soon. ... One of the best things to come out of the month of November was my exercise regimen. Looking at my calendar, I am pleased to see that I worked out sixteen days out of a possible thirty. Now all that I need to do is keep that momentum going through December and the rest of winter. Not being able to ride my bike is hard, but at least I am keeping fit despite the cold weather. |
