kiss elizabeth banks Having taken Saturday night off from work to go to a party left me feeling a little out of sorts both yesterday and today. I'm not complaining about this sudden turn of events, because the party was a certainly good time and any chance away from work is always a positive for me. It's just that this new pattern of working one night, partying the next night and then returning back to work the following night has upset my internal clock. Whatever rhythm I might have had going these past few weeks is long gone. In an effort to get back into some kind of recognizable routine, I exercised today which is something that I hadn't done since last week Thursday. That isn't to say that I love routine. I just needed to do something to ground me somewhat. Otherwise I was finding it very hard to concentrate today. I needed a familiar point of reference and working out gave me that foothold. ... I know that everyone was supposed to focus their attention on Kirsten Dunst as Mary Jane Watson in the two Spider-Man movies, but the woman who caught my eye was Elizabeth Banks as Betty Brant. In the comic books, she was also a girlfriend of Peter's and in my opinion she was a much better choice than Mary Jane. Putting aside the fictional aspect, Elizabeth is far more attractive Kirsten. So to get another fix of Elizabeth, I watched the movie Heights this morning and wasn't disappointed by Miss Banks performance. The story wasn't anything that special, but that wasn't my primary reason for wanting to see it. |
