some list making

Before I left work Tuesday morning, I made a list of things that I wanted to get done on my weekend. Somehow over time I've developed a habit of wasting my weekends doing next to nothing and then regretting it when I have to go back to work. So in an effort to change that sad pattern, I thought that making a list of things that I either need or want to do would be a way to solve that problem. In theory it sounded like a good plan, but the first trial run gave me a much different story. Now that my weekend is over I am disappointed at how few things on that list actually got crossed off. I think that I did about a fifth of what I wanted to accomplish. Hopefully I can improve that percentage next week.
