ned kelly hero Before sunrise this morning when all was quiet, Ned Kelly was hanged and I felt sympathy for him. Actually I reached the end of Peter Carey's novel the True History of the Kelly Gang. I can't remember the last time that I read a book that was a first person narrative that also had an historical element to it, but I truly enjoyed reading the book. Ned came across as a person who simply wanted to live in peace, but wasn't given the chance. |
