mahogany red hue With the temperatures rising, sitting outside and reading has almost started to be an option again. To bring that one step closer to happening I had retrieved my deck chairs from storage in my garage a week or two ago and set them up on my deck. That was fine except that I was a little disappointed with the way that they looked. I've owned them for about seven years and the original color has faded from repeated exposure to sun and rain. So this morning after work I tackled a home improvement project of sorts and set about staining them to a shade that would match their former appearance. All went reasonably well, but by the time that I had finished coating one of the chairs, I had grown tired and knew that it was time to quit. Trying to hurry and stain the second chair would probably have resulted in a poor job on my part and there was no real sense of urgency. ... I reached the end of the anime series Divergence Eve and I must confess that I was both confused and disappointed by the conclusion. From what I can gather, Misaki became this all powerful being that was able to recreate the universe to her liking. She wanted to live in a world where all of her friends were still alive and that is the basis for the spin off series The Misaki Chronicles. I could be wrong on that point, but that is the way that I understood it. Overall I like Misaki as a character, but I think that I want to try a different series, before I watch the sequel to Divergence Eve. |
