sinead and sawyer

Sinead O'Connor has yet to release her new double CD album titled Theology, but after hearing the two singles that she released for free online, I had to hear the rest of the songs by any means possible and I did that this morning. Overall I like what she did with the album by having the first disc comprised of acoustic versions of songs sung in Dublin followed by a second disc having the same songs, but instead of being solo she is backed by a full band in London. The contrast between the two versions is interesting, but personally I prefer the first disc to the second.

Leaving behind the intimate world of Sinead and her songs of religious introspection, I also managed to obtain the Gwen Stefani disc The Sweet Escape. My expectations for Gwen in terms of personal insight were much lower, but I was still disappointed that the hooks that I liked in the songs Wind It Up and 4 in the Morning were not repeated anywhere else on the album.

I think that Sawyer has to be my favorite character on Lost, but I am little concerned for him now that his primary motivation has been removed. Now that his parents have been avenged what will drive him as a person? Will his crush on Kate be enough? Will he transform into something more than just a con man? Will he become the new leader of the survivors of Oceanic Flight 815 since Jack seems to be on the verge of abandoning them again?
