not so epic I like the writing of Neil Gaiman. I have read the epic poem that was the source material. I like animated films. I like Angelina Jolie. However, the combination of all of these things was not enough to make me enjoy the new movie Beowulf that much. Oh, I did not despise the movie, but there were more than a few scenes that made me wince and they had nothing to do with gore. Sometimes the story just felt off to me and unintentionally funny. |
