happy new year My wife and I welcomed in the New Year at home. I preferred it that way. Maybe I am being selfish, but I didn't feel the need to be with anyone else at that moment. I didn't need to be surrounded by friends. She was enough. Besides before the magic time arrived, we had already gone out on a date to have dinner and see the movie The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, which I enjoyed. It was somewhat flawed, but I enjoyed the overall sentiment. Life is hard, but one needs to celebrate the good parts is the message that I took away from the movie and I agree. That might be too simplistic of a message for some people, but I have no problem with it. I have no idea what to expect from this year. In some ways, 2009 still sounds like the future despite the fact that it has been on the calendar for some time waiting to appear. What I do want to happen is a return to China if possible. I also want to read more books than I did last year and exercise even more regularly. A new job would also be nice. |
