Minneapolis not Omaha

Today was great. It started with a quick flight from Milwaukee to Minneapolis. This soon led to a day at Mall of America, because my flight was cancelled due to nine inches of snow in Omaha. This didn't bother me though. I got to people watch for most of the day and just be a tourist.

I kept my buying to a minimum though. My single purchase besides food was a copy of The Real World The Ultimate Insider's Guide book. I was addicted to that show at one time and have seen almost all of the installments multiple times. A few years back I even applied to be one of the participants. All that I have to show for my efforts is a reject form letter on some MTV letterhead. My fifteen minutes of fame eluded me. The series that I had applied for was the San Francisco series. Just think I could have been there with Puck and Rachel.

I think that the next three weeks are going to be a good time.

My only real complaint about today would be the really poor internet connection in my hotel room. For some reason, I lose the carrier signal after about five minutes of being logged on.
