Timeline

I spent part of the afternoon scanning photos for my mom. She wants to use them on her own webpage. So maybe in the near future, there'll be another side of my story. Or at least the point of view of my mother.

Scanning photos was probably the most productive thing that I did today. The rest of the day was spent watching television and just milling around the house.

I did however have dinner with Ginkgo once again. Its our weekly little get together where she listens to me ramble on end for hours.

People are generally surprised when I start to talk. My own grandma was amazed at how much I talked the other day at Thanksgiving. Without a doubt, I am the kind of person who won't say a word unless the other person speaks to me first. I could sit there forever without saying a word and it wouldn't bother me.

I guess there are times when I really do live in my own little world. This doesn't have to be seen as a bad thing either. Very seldom am I bored. When I am alone my mind wanders everywhere. Thoughts and ideas come and go. Sometimes I relive my past. I can fully reconstruct whole conversations that I have had with people.

At one time I thought that it would be really neat to be just like the character Billy Pilgrim in the novel Slaughterhouse Five by Kurt Vonnegut Jr. Billy is able to move to any point along the timeline of his life. He can relive his birth or his death. Time wasn't fixed for him.

Well the only part of my timeline that I want to move to now is my bed.

Six more days until my birthday.
