Pagan Days

I found a book of mine that I was looking for the other day called The Pagan Book of Days. It gives some information about what the days of the year meant to people centuries ago. Some of the holidays have survived, but most of them have been forgotten or overtaken by Christianity. The majority of the folklore is European in nature, but that doesn't detract from the book. I like seeing how the calendar evolved over time from the Julian calendar to the Gregorian one. Besides its one of the few historical books that I own.

For some reason, I just can't write today. So I think that I'll stop here today.
