Horror Movies

Maybe I just don't care for the genre, but the latest Halloween movie had no impact on me whatsoever. I'm not really sure why they made the movie, beyond the nostalgia element of having Jamie Lee Curtis return one more time.

I can understand the popularity of Scream. The movie made fun of the genre while at the same time belonging to the genre, but Halloween did nothing for me.

Halloween is the first horror film that I have seen in the theater in years. The last time that I saw one in the theater was when I was still in high school and it was probably one of the movies from the Hellraiser series.

Well, none of this really matters anyway. Next week I'll go see the Avengers with Uma Thurman and Ralph Fiennes.
