day six I returned to the eastern shore to do some kayaking for the first time in my life. I wasn't quite sure what to expect and had visions of me capsizing and getting caught submerged in rough seas, but despite my fears I still went, because it sounded like fun. Later in the day I put some nice gouges in my left shin by taking the lead in looking for a clear way to get across the rocks.
