Michelangelo sibyl from the Sistine Chapel

not enough words

I spent part of the night uploading entries from when I was in Nova Scotia, which was a little hard to do. Of the seven days that I was gone, I only wrote something for four of them. Most of the time I was pretty tired by the time that I got back to the hotel and just wanted to relax and go to sleep. So the end result certainly doesn't give the best account of what I did and saw there, but at least I have something there to help me remember what happened. Actually I know what happened, but writing about it two weeks after the fact doesn't seem quite right to me. The perspective has changed.

The four entries that I did write tend to be fragmented and give the impression that I was on the move most of the time, which was true. They aren't heavy on insight or description, but rather a quick sketch for the day.

In an effort to make up for the lack of verbal description, I scanned some of the better photos that I took while I was there. So beginning with the fourteenth of June, there are some rough outlines of my Nova Scotia trip. Maybe I'll flesh them out a little more tomorrow, but I'll never be able to fully capture what it felt like being there.
