So I drove around yesterday, looking at houses near City
Park. I like the neighborhood, especially the part tucked in between
Delgado and all the cemeteries. Sonya and I went to look at a house tonight at Joseph and
Tchoupitoulas, right across the street from our grocery store. Cute, and
it had off-street parking, but the train tracks that run along the river
are just across the street and when they do some switching back there it
can be frighteningly loud. So we told Alex, our vaguely Central American real estate
agent whom I love, that we should widen the search: Mid City and Lakeview
are now under consideration. But nothing is decided. Is house stuff dull? Tough! I think you're dull!
Nobody makes you read this. It's not like you have to pay or
anything. |
