staring at the sundog I really was impressed by how much that I got accomplished yesterday, but with the limited amount of time that I have left before I leave on my trip I almost have to be that way. There are only two weeks left before I become the stranger in the strange land and this weekend won't leave me much free time either. Not only is it a holiday weekend, but my parents have organized a family reunion to go with it. Today wasn't nearly as busy as yesterday, but it was just as enjoyable. I feel focused again. I feel as though things are starting to fall into place. I feel alive. Ten more days of work will be nothing. Soon I'll be a traveler, a tourist and I can hardly wait. I am going to have fun for the first time in a long time. ... Here I am at ten in the morning on Wednesday and I've run out things to say. Band on the Run plays through the headphones. No. I don't mean insane vouces. I mean more of a voiceover. For me I think that this would be a great book to hear read aloud. The strange thing is that I've never listened to a book on tape. An old roommate of mine listened to books at his data entry job. He said that it was the only thing that kept him sane while he was there. ... James Robinson has to be one of the best writers working in the comic book market today. If you'vre never read a comic book in your life than read an issue of Starman by James Robinson. Yes, the title sounds silly, but the main character Jack rebels against that name in the beginning. He doesn't want to be a hero and he doesn't wear a costume. ... How did the word punchy come to mean over tired. Does it come from punch drunk? Yes, that must be it. Punch drunk like Muhammad Ali. He has some other kind of disorder that affected his brain.
