those crazy romans Yesterday I had turned off the heat in my house so I could open my windows. That would have been fine except that I forgot to turn it back on later in the night and when I walked into my house this morning, it was a good ten degrees cooler than it should have been. The equinox might have happened, but that doesn't mean that I can turn off the heat yet. ... I gave the movie Gladiator a second chance by listening to the audio commentary done by Ridley Scott on the DVD edition. Listening to what he had to say made me appreciate it a little more than I did after the first viewing. I guess that for what it is it isn't that bad of a movie, but it certainly did not live up to all of the hype. Then again nothing ever does.
