those lazy days I'm not quite sure what the reasoning was behind the drug rant from yesterday. Maybe I just wanted to talk some more about the way that Ann and I relate on Sundays. The other possibilty is that I was reaching for things to say. The same could be said for today. ... Even with grilling this morning after work, I couldn't stay awake until the peak tanning hours. My body wanted sleep more than the sun. ... In reading I've left behind the world of Australia for The Big Sleep by Raymond Chandler. Reading words that I have heard spoken at least a dozen times by Humphrey Bogart is very odd. Naturally knowing what is going to happen makes for easier reading, but I also know that the film was a very edited version of the book.
