living through history I'm not really sure what to say about what happened in New York. Basically it all seemed unreal to me. Seeing the buildings collapse over and over on the television screen was almost like watching a bad disaster movie except that it was real and not a computer generated effect. I guess it proved in some ways that America is not loved by everyone in the world and that we as a country have to rethink our place in it. As for the comparisons to the attack on Pearl Harbor, I hope that it wouldn't escalate to something as immense as another world war, but we will see what happens. People want some kind of form of justice. On a much more personal note, I wouldn't want to see my brother and sister get called into active duty, which is a remote possibility. ... Putting aside all of the events on the East Coast, I did have a good morning. Actually I was having my new place inspected when I first heard the news from my realtor.
