classmates of mine

With her coat open and an odd expression on her face, I saw this attractive woman walking towards me on campus as I headed to class. There was a moment when I didn't recognize her and just took in her shape. To say the least it was pleasing. Then her face came into focus and I realized that it was Miss Flax clad in earth colors which suit her best.

Me: You're going in the wrong direction.

Miss Flax: I forgot my assignment.

I briefly turned around to watch her hurrying off to get that forgotten piece of paper and smiled. She had enough time left before class started.

As silly as it sounds, for just a moment I thought of joining her, but I didn't.

Slightly flushed and maybe breathing a little heavy, I saw her walk into class just as the professor was handing out another stack of papers. Oddly enough he said that if we were having problems with the assignment we could turn it in next class period.

...

I'll miss driving along the lake when school ends. I suppose that there is nothing stopping me from doing so in the summer months, but I probably won't. I think that I like the empty quality of the beach the best and that won't be the case once school is over. Of course I could be wrong.

...

The new guy at work has been causing some waves through the company and I've been loving every minute of it. Rather than just standing by and or going with the flow, he keeps questioning why we do certain things at work. He isn't subtle in is approach either. Most recently he said that it looked as though someone used crayons to do some documentation at work. Obviously that got more than a few people upset. I, however, couldn't stop laughing.

What made this even better was the fact that he did the same documentation in a much better format. Not only can he see the flaws, but he can fix them.

When Ann was around she tried to do the same thing, but they usually slapped her back down in a hurry. I hope that this doesn't happen with the new guy. Plus his attitude makes me seem like less of a maverick.
