pooh corner house All is well between Nicole and I. The two of us talked on the phone for an hour this morning and that made my day that much better. Neither of us mentioned her fiance talking to me and I have come to the conclusion that he was lying to me. Besides there were other things upsetting her so I was not about to add to her misery. I found out that her grandmother had died this Sunday and that was why she hadn't been at work for a few days. Now that I know why she wasn't at work, it makes me loathe her fiance even more than I already do. When she was home crying and not because of anything that I said or did to her, he was at work talking about going to Las Vegas for a week. Yes, he still went even though most of this week has been awful for her. I've never understood the appeal of Las Vegas anyway, so when people like him are drawn to it, that lowers my opinion just that much more. Of course my reasoning may not be the most rational at the moment, but I wouldn't mind seeing Las Vegas bulldozed under.
