spring wisconsin version The start of daylight savings time is great for people who work third shift. Let me explain. I got out an hour earlier this morning and will still be paid for my usual amount of time. Of course the reverse in true in the fall and somehow that extra unpaid hour always seems to be the longest one. ... Maybe in an effort to make me appreciate New Zealand more than I did, the weather here in Wisconsin has been less than spectacular since my humble return. It's snowed at least twice in the past week and there is more in the forecast. Oh, none of that snow lasted for very long, but there certainly isn't any need to apply sunscreen nor are there any glaciers around to at least make it exciting for me. ... A year ago or so my brother mentioned Pete Yorn to me, but I didn't get around to downloading any of his stuff until now. I wish that I hadn't waited that long. ... Obviously the past couple of days have been busy ones for me and most of that time has been spent with a certain someone. It may not been overly warm outside with cold spring rain and cloud filled skies, but the same can't be said for staying inside. |
