mottled red vein Without wanting it to happen the day got away from me and I got very little done. Since today was the start of my weekend that shouldn't bother me that much, but it does to a small degree. Whenever I am not at work, I feel like I should using my time as wisely as possible, because it is limited. During the early morning hours at work I had tried to plan what I wanted to do for the day, but that got forgotten once I got home from the grocery store. I didn't do any cleaning today. I didn't grill outside. I didn't even do any reading. About the most productive thing that I did today was watch Rick Steves make his way around the Mediterranean and that took a mere two hours of my evening. For me it seemed like parts of the show had been aired before in individual episodes, but I guess that that is to be expected. As cliche as it might be, I feel tempted to blame my apathy on the weather. The sun was shining when I got home from work, but changed by the time that I woke this afternoon. Instead of blazing heat that drives me into the pool for the day, all that I got was overcast and high humidity. My right hand no longer itches and is its correct size, but one can see that something had been wrong with it just a few days ago. As a reminder there is a faint line of red spreading out from between my index and middle finger down towards my wrist. |
