city of santiago Shortly after midnight I caught the latter half of an episode of Globe Trekker, which was new to me. Shilpa was making her way across northern Spain and as is usually the case after seeing the episode I felt like adding the destination to my list of places that I want to visit. Maybe it was the fact that the Spain that she showed was less of the tourist version that I found it appealing. ... I almost made it into the pool this afternoon, but the wind and a lack of time kept me dry. About as close as I got was cleaning the pool of leaves that had been swept into it. From that perspective the pool looked inviting, but the temperature of the water wasn't as warm and inviting. I guess that I wanted to swim one more time before my parents move and a free pool won't be as easy to access. ... So far I only have four songs from Life for Rent, the latest album from Dido, but I like what I've heard. |
