her blue skin Before I went to work I had just enough time to watch the movie Dark Victory with Bette Davis. Five minutes into the movie, I realized that I had seen it before, but I couldn't remember when or where, but that didn't stop me from watching it again. Generally speaking some of the performances seemed stilted, but seeing Bogart talk with an Irish accent was interesting. Plus former President Reagan was in the movie as a socialite of sorts who did little else but drink. For the most part I seem to switch between foreign and classic films with an independent one mixed in on occasion. I guess that that has to do with my disinterest with most mainstream movies being made today. I want something with style and most modern movies don't meet that standard as far as I am concerned. |
